Safe Environments
The intent of the policy is to provide clear directives in order to establish and maintain a safe pastoral environment that is free from abuse. The website outlines information and requirements for parishes and everyone providing ministry in the Church, including all clergy, religious, seminarians, laity, employees and volunteers.
Parish Operations
We evaluate insurance needs for parishes, process insurance claims, help the parish through the repair/rebuild process, manage properties, provide safe environments training for all parish councils and parishioners, work with parish safe environment coordinators to ensure all required police record checks and vulnerable sector checks are completed, manage abuse claims related to safe environments, and more.
