The Feast Before the Fast – Young Adults Event
Pray hard Play hard is an Edmonton-based Catholic young adults group. We hold monthly events where as the name implies, we pray hard and play hard. Save the date for an unforgettable evening on Friday, February 9th, at Holy Spirit Seminary (12909 113 Ave NW, Edmonton). Join us for “The Feast Before the Fast,” a special gathering preceding the Fast Puschenya (Ukrainian Mardi Gras) celebration.
Dress Code, you ask? Full suit of armour! If you don’t have one, just remember that it’s a night of dancing (think “Malanka” if you’re Ukrainian). Doesn’t need to be too fancy, but nice enough that someone might want to dance with you 😉
Commencing with the 6:00pm Vespers, the night promises food, drinks, and unlimited dancefloor access—a joyous celebration before we put it all away for Lent!
For a $15 cover charge online or payable at the door, treat yourself to a variety of charcuterie and snacks, and receive three drink tickets. Immerse yourself in this unique experience, and we hope to see you there, celebrating the anticipation of Lent together.
