St. Macrina Store Mission!

Together, we’re on a mission to bring people closer to Christ by providing quality Eastern Christian materials to Canadians. St. Macrina’s Book and Gift Store was created by the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton, to make it easier for Canadians to purchase items that will help them grow in their relationship with God.

Any profits that we may make through the store are redirected to Religious Education in the Eparchy of Edmonton which covers the entire province of Alberta. The Religious Education department directly impacts our community by: 

• Managing a Resource Centre where individuals and parishes may borrow materials for free. 
• Forming catechists through mentoring and coaching.
• Sponsoring professional development for catechists working in the Eparchy.
• Coordinating Eparchial wide events for people at all ages and stages, for example: Table for Two for couples, Called to be Holy; Men’s Conference and Retreat, Women’s Retreats, Family Faith sessions, our annual Lenten Presentation Series, and more!
