Come, let us adore God the Word,* who was born of the Father before all ages,* and was incarnate of the Virgin Mary;* for of His own free will He suffered the Cross* and submitted Himself to burial,* and arose from the dead to save me, a sinful one.
The just shall gather around me* when You have been good to me.
Christ our Saviour cancelled the decree that was written against us,* by nailing it to the Cross;* and He abolished the dominion of Death.* Let us glorify His resurrection on the third day.

Let us run to meet the Theotokos, desiring to behold her Son whom she offered to Simeon. Today Simeon has been glorified, receiving Christ as a living coal in a godly manner, and being cleansed, he kisses Him with his lips. He confesses and rejoices, and asks leave of Him to depart. And now, piously blessing Him, we all honor Him with unceasing praise.

Браття і Сестри, страва не зближує нас до Бога: ні як не їмо, не тратимо нічого, ні як їмо, не користаємо нічого. 9. Але глядіть, щоб ця ваша свобода не стала причиною падіння для слабких. 10. Бо коли хто бачить тебе, що маєш знання, як ти у капищі сидиш за столом, чи його совість, тому що слабка, не буде заохочена їсти ідоложертовне ? 11. І так через твоє знання може погибнути немічний брат, за якого помер Христос. 12. Грішивши так проти братів і ранивши їх слабку совість, грішите проти Христа. 13. Замість Достойно, приспів:
Богородице Діво, уповання християн, покрий, захорони і спаси тих, що на Тебе уповають.
І ірмос (г. 3): В законі тіні і писання образ бачимо, вірні: кожний младенець мужеського полу, що отвирає утробу – святий Богу. Тому первороджене Слово безначального Отця – Сина, що первородиться з матері, яка мужа не знає, – величаємо.
Причасний:
