This February, the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton is inviting couples to step away from busy routines and rediscover one another in the light of Christ. Table for Two – You Are My Valentine is a special Valentine-season evening created for dating and married couples who desire both romance and a deeper encounter with God at the heart of their relationship.

Held at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Parish, 9003 – 153 Avenue, Edmonton, this gathering offers couples a beautiful space to slow down, share a meal, and renew their commitment to one another in a warm, prayerful atmosphere.

What Makes “Table for Two” Unique

Rather than a typical restaurant outing, Table for Two is designed as a relationship‑nourishing experience.

  • Romantic candlelit setting. Each couple is seated at their own table, surrounded by soft lighting and a peaceful ambiance that encourages eye contact, listening, and heartfelt conversation.

  • Faith-filled conversation starters. With each course, couples receive simple prompts to help them talk about love, hopes, challenges, and God’s work in their lives, without group sharing or pressure. This time is just for the two of you.

  • An inspiring testimony. A couple will share the story of their sacramental marriage, offering real-life wisdom about joy, perseverance, forgiveness, and trust in God through the seasons of family life.

  • Gourmet dining. A local chef has prepared a thoughtful menu so couples can relax and enjoy a delicious meal together, with attention to taste and dietary needs.

  • Space to reconnect with God. Throughout the evening, couples are gently invited to remember that their love is a gift from the Lord and that He desires to strengthen and bless their union.
