The Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Eparchial Accountant to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your financial expertise with a meaningful mission—supporting over 80 Ukrainian Catholic parishes across Alberta.

About the Role

As the Eparchial Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of the Eparchy. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, manage payroll and budget processes, and support parishes with financial guidance.
Your work will contribute directly to the mission of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy, ensuring financial stability and responsible stewardship of resources.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA designation (or current enrollment) preferred
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and financial reporting tools
Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
Faith Alignment: Respect for Catholic values and willingness to work in alignment with the Church’s mission
