O Christ, during this spiritual service,* we sing to You these evening prayers,* commemorating the mercy You have shown us* by Your resurrection.
- The just shall gather around me* when You have been good to me.
O Lord, O Lord, do not cast us away from Your face;* but in Your kindness have mercy on us* through Your resurrection.
- Out of the depths I cry to You, O Lord;* O Lord, hear my voice!
Rejoice, O holy Zion,* the Mother of Churches and the dwelling-place of God;* for you were the first to receive the forgiveness of sins* through the resurrection.

Through priestly anointing and the blood of martyrdom * you drew near unto God, * O most perfect and all-glorious Cyprian, * flower of nature and adornment of eloquence, * summit of wisdom, measure of the correctness of the dogmas, * most harmonious rightness of the canons * and magnificence of the Churches.
- Praise the Lord, all the nations;* proclaim His glory, all you people.
O most honorable Cyprian, glory of athletes * and crown of martyrs, * by your discourses you persuaded the divinely wise * to maintain their courage most valiantly * when confronted with imprisonment, bondage and divers tortures, * the stripping of their bodies, * binding and most cruel frost, * and finally wounding and death.
- Strong is the love of the Lord for us;* eternally will His truth endure.

Out of his love for mankind * the King of heaven appeared on earth and dwelt with men,* for He assumed a human body from the pure Virgin* and was seen in the flesh He received from her.* He is the One and only God having two natures but not two persons.* Wherefore we profess and declare the truth * that Christ our God is perfect God and perfect Man. * O Mother, who knew not carnal union, * intercede with Him that He may have mercy on our souls.

O Jesus, You descended from heaven* so that You might ascend the cross.* O immortal Life, You came to die.* You are the true light to those who live in darkness,* and You are the resurrection of the fallen.* Therefore, O Saviour of all, we glorify You.

Before your Passion, O Saviour, you allowed yourself to be clothed in the robe of mockery, thus covering the shameful nakedness of man; and to be nailed naked to the cross while putting off the garment of death.

Стих: Виведи з в’язниці мою душу,* щоб дякувати імені твоєму.
(г. 8): Вечірню пісню і словесну службу* приносимо тобі, Христе,* бо ти зволив помилувати нас воскресінням.
Стих: Мене обступлять праведники,* бо ти добро мені вчиниш.
Господи, Господи,* не відкинь нас від твого лиця,* але зволь помилувати нас воскресінням.
Стих: З глибин взиваю до тебе, Господи,* Господи, почуй мій голос.

(г. 4): I звичаїв апостолів причасником і їх намісником стався Ти,* знайшов Ти шлях, богонатхненний, як дійти до видіння.* Задля того слово істини справляючи,* і задля віри постраждав Ти аж до крови, священномученику Кипріяне, моли Христа Бога, щоб спаслися душі наші.

Апостол: (2Кр 6,16-7,1):
Браття і Сестри, ми бо храм Бога живого, як сам Бог сказав був: «Я поселюся в них, і (посеред них) буду ходити. Буду їхнім Богом, вони ж будуть моїм народом. Тож вийдіть з-поміж них і відлучіться, – каже Господь. Нечистого не дотикайтесь, і я вас прийму. Я буду вам Отцем, ви ж будете мені синами та дочками – каже Господь Вседержитель.» Маючи ж такі обітниці, о любі, очистьмо себе від усякої скверни тіла і духа, довершуючи наше освячення в Божому острасі.
Алилуя (глас 8):
Стих: Прийдіте, радісно заспіваймо Господеві, воскликнім Богу, Спасителеві нашому (Пс 94,1).
Стих: Прийдімо з похвалами перед обличчя Його, і псалмами воскликнім Йому (Пс 94,2).
Євангеліє: (Мт 15,21-28): Tого часу ввійшов Ісус у cторони тирські та сидонськi. Коли це жінка ханаанянка вийшла з цих околиць і почала кричати: “Змилуйся надо мною, Господи, Сину Давида! Біс мучить мою дочку страшенно.” Він же не озвався до неї і словом. Тут приступили його учні й почали його просити: “Відпусти її, бо вона кричить за нами.” А він у відповідь промовив: “Я посланий лише до загиблих овець дому Ізраїля.” Та ж підійшла і, вклонившись йому в ноги, каже: “Господи, допоможи мені!” Він відповів їй: “Не личить брати хліб у дітей і кидати щенятам.” А вона каже: “Так, Господи! Але й щенята їдять кришки, що падають зо столу в панів їхніх.” Тоді відповів їй Ісус: “О жінко, велика твоя віра! Хай тобі буде, як бажаєш.” І видужала її дочка від тієї години.
