HOLY TRINITY Parish – Парафія Пресвятої Трійці

The church is in the centre of the town. The land and several hundred dollars were donated by the Basilian Fathers from Mundare. The Parish had its beginnings in 1913 in the house of T. Iwanyshyn. It was the feast of St. John the Baptist. Originally there were 100 members, but with time some left the Holy Church and joined the Orthodox, other followed the communists. The Government of Alberta provided 10 acres of bush land for the cemetery. The church (50’ x 28’) was finally built in 1934.
