The silent colour film portrays the construction of St. Josaphat Cathedral in Edmonton, Alberta, at various stages of the work, over a four year period. It features various Basilian fathers, Bishop Vasyl Ladyka, OSBM, and Fr. Philip Ruh, OMI who is seen very briefly, at one point wearing a pith helmet. The parishioners, led in construction by master carpenter, Mike Yanchynski, build the brick walls and paint windows; choir members sing during open air Divine Liturgy; and the congregation carries flower-laden black wrought-iron crosses during the Blessing of the Crosses Ceremony, led by Bishop Ladyka. The film is 9 minutes 50 seconds in duration. Basilian Fathers, Edmonton, Alberta.
