His Beatitude Sviatoslav, Patriarch of Kyiv-Halych and all Rus-Ukraine, father and head of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, visited Saint Paul University and the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute as part of his canonical visitation of the Eparchy of Toronto and Eastern Canada. This visitation occurred on May 9, 2014.
His Beatitude arrived at MASI and celebrated a moleben for the glorification of the Servant of God, Metropolitan Andrey. At this moleben His Beatitude preached on the importance of studying theology and of the Sheptytsky Institute. He then sat with university students in the university chapel and answered their questions on many topics concerning the Church and our larger culture.
