The Annual Saints Peter and Paul Parish Pilgrimage – Vidpust, Mundare will take place Sunday,  June 23, commencing with a 9:30 am Blessing of Water and 10:00 am Pontifical Divine Liturgy, celebrated by Bishop David Motiuk and Basilian Fathers.

This Year’s Pilgrimage marks the Year of Faith as proclaimed by Pope Benedict XVI, the 1025th Anniversary of the Baptism of Rus’-Ukraine, and the 100th Anniversary of the Appointment of Bishop-Martyr Nykyta Budka.

Rev. Dr. Athanasius McVay will be the guest homilist, speaking about the life and sacrifice of Bishop Budka. Father McVay recently completed a biography of our first Ukrainian Catholic Bishop in Canada.
