Join us for the next stage of the JP 33 prayer challenge pilgrimage – Jesus Prayer 100. Over the 40 days of Lent, participants will commit to practicing the Jesus Prayer 100 times per day and explore the spiritual classic “The Way of the Pilgrim.” This transformative challenge will include in-person sessions at St. Stephen Protomartyr Ukrainian Catholic Church in Calgary and the option to join via Zoom.

Requirements to Participate:

To be part of Jesus Prayer 100, ensure you meet the following criteria:

1. Completion of JP 33: Participants must have successfully completed the JP 33 program.

2. Spiritual Director’s Permission:
Obtain permission from your Spiritual Director or be in the process of seeking guidance. Additionally, have the blessing of your pastor (parish priest).

3. Parish Participation: Active involvement in liturgy and reception of the sacraments is presumed for this program.

4. Recommended Reading: While any version of “The Way of the Pilgrim” is acceptable, Fr. Mike recommends using “The Way of a Pilgrim: The Jesus Prayer Journey―Annotated & Explained,” available on Amazon. This edition includes helpful notes, quotes, and a glossary of terms.

– Jesus Prayer 100 involves a deeper commitment compared to JP 33.
– Catechetical videos will introduce various chapters of “The Way of the Pilgrim” and provide additional challenges throughout the week.
