Bill C-14 (“medical assistance in dying”) is currently before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights.

Those working with the Coalition have indicated it currently has 15,000 people on its data base and generated 10,000 letters. At the same time, it would like to encourage more participation in its work by Canadians outside Ontario.

The Coalition is an initiative of the Archdiocese of Toronto, the Christian Medical and Dental Society of Canada, the Catholic Organization for Life and Family, the Canadian Federation of Catholic Physicians’ Societies, the Canadian Catholic Bioethics Institute, and Canadian Physicians for Life.
