Sts. Volodymyr and Olga Parish – Smoky Lake (Town)

Sts. Volodymyr and Olga Parish serves Smoky Lake from a centrally located church built over a decade of parish effort between 1964 and 1974. The church was already being used for services by July 1970 and was blessed by Bishop Neil Savaryn.

The parish gathered families from Smoky Lake and the surrounding area, including many with roots in Bukovyna and western Ukraine. Its history notes a church with three small front domes and a cemetery about 800 metres from the church.
