Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary – Holden (Farm)

Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, also known as St. Mary's South Holden, is a historic rural Ukrainian Catholic church south of Holden. Early Ukrainian settlers in the area organized parish life in 1907, when Ivan Babiak donated land for the church and cemetery and a small church was built.

The parish built a new church in 1916, and the church and bell tower later became a registered historic site in 1994. Its story includes religion and Ukrainian classes taught by the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate, interior religious art, and decades of Basilian and Eparchial pastoral service.
