Holy Eucharist Parish – Frains

Holy Eucharist Parish in Frains is a rural Ukrainian Catholic church and cemetery community northeast of Athabasca. Two acres for the church and cemetery were donated in 1941, and the parish history remembers families who helped sustain the church.

The old Eparchy account notes a dedicated and supportive community that became smaller in the 1970s as many faithful moved to Boyle, while Eparchial clergy continued to serve the faithful of Frains.
