About Holy Eucharist Parish – Cherhill
Holy Eucharist Parish in Cherhill is a Ukrainian Catholic church built in 1938 on land donated by Dmytro Shulhan in the centre of the community. Its earliest services were held in a private home by Fr. Roman Chomiak, CSSR, before monthly services were provided by Basilian Fathers.
The parish history emphasizes rural parish commitment and the Eparchial clergy who continued serving the community after the war.
