Assumption of the BVM Parish – Waugh

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Waugh is a Ukrainian Catholic parish with roots in early Ukrainian settlement north of Edmonton. The first church was built in 1904, and the present three-domed church with a hall below was constructed in 1939.

The parish history notes monthly Divine Liturgy, an attached cemetery, and generations of service by Basilian Fathers from Edmonton and later Eparchial clergy.
