Parish Evening “Generations of Faith”: The Liturgical Year

Holy Cross Parish invites the faithful to Generations of Faith: “The Liturgical Year”, an evening of prayer, shared food, learning, and fellowship for all ages. This parish-based program is designed to bring children, youth, adults, and seniors together for a deeper exploration of the Catholic faith in a welcoming and family-friendly setting.

The evening will begin with prayer and a potluck meal. Participants are asked to bring something to share. After the meal, an introductory presentation will introduce the topic of the month: The Liturgical Year. From there, participants will break into four age groups to explore the theme more fully in a way that is suited to each stage of life.

When everyone gathers again, there will be an opportunity to share discoveries and reflect together on what has been learned. The evening is intended to offer not only knowledge, but also a stronger sense of belonging, faith, and connection across generations.

This program is free and open to everyone. Holy Cross hopes to offer a new topic each month, usually on the first Tuesday of the month, with the possibility of moving to the second Saturday if needed. The invitation is open to all who wish to grow in faith and learn more about the richness of the Church’s liturgical life.
