Supported Charities

Eparchial Supported Charities:

Bridge of Hope:

Assist the helpless and needy: sponsor a child in Ukraine.

The Edmonton Eparchy in partnership with the Bridge of Hope has embarked on a charitable project entitled “Home of Hope”. It is a sanctuary and support for teenage girls, who no longer qualify for Ukrainian Government protection services, and need a safe place to work on their education and career.

Catholic Near East Welfare Association:

Amidst the upheavals and challenges of the modern world, CNEWA (Catholic Near East Welfare Association) has been a lifeline for those in need throughout the Middle East, Northeast Africa, India and Eastern Europe for more than 75 years.

Development and Peace is a membership led organization supported by parish collections, individual donations and government grants, principally from the Canadian International Development Agency.

Aid to the Church in Need:

Aid to the Church in Need is an international charitable organization founded in Belgium in 1947 and presently established in 17 countries. ACN’s distinctive mark is that it helps communities of Catholics rather than individuals, wherever they can be found in difficulty for reasons of persecution or dire material needs.

Catholic Missions in Canada:

Not all missions are foreign missions. It may surprise many Canadian Catholics, but they don’t have to look far: some of the poorest and neediest missions served by the Church can be found here in Canada.
