Watch Session One: Preparation for the Celebration

Fr. Mykhailo Ozorovych from the Eparchy of New Westminster introduces us to recommended spiritual preparation for the faithful before the Divine Liturgy as well as the prayers that the priests prays silently as he prepares to celebrate the Divine Liturgy. We learn about the depth of the symbolism in the vesting, and the proskomedia – the preparation of the prosphora (holy bread). An amazing place to start!

The Liturgy of the Word

Join Fr. Danylo Kuc as he leads us toward and through the Liturgy of the Word within the Divine Liturgy. We learn about the history of the movements in this portion of the Divine Liturgy and learn about some of the prayers that the priest prays on our behalf as we prepare to hear the Word of God.

Liturgy of the Eucharist

Join Fr. Roman Planchak as he leads us into the Liturgy of the Eucharist.  We learn about the Anaphora and the meaning of the prayers for us as we prepare to receive Holy Communion and then go out into the world.
