The UGCC Canadian Clergy Encounter II took place on June 24-27, 2013 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The keynote speaker was Fr. Athanasius McVay, a priest of the Eparchy of Edmonton who is a Church historian currently researching in Rome. He gave a three part presentation on the History of Blessed Nykyta Budka, Bishop and Martyr and the early history of the UGCC in Canada. You will find a video of Fr. Athanasius’ presentation below.

Bishop Ken Nowakowski spoke about VISION 2020: Evangelization of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church – Vibrant Parishes – Places to Encounter the Living Christ, a UGCC Synodal project.

Fr. Michael Winn, Rector of Holy Spirit Seminary in Ottawa, Ontario, spoke on the UGCC in Canada and its future in light of recent developments of technology and social media. Click here to link to a page about his presentation.
