The Synod of Bishops of the Ukrainian Catholic Church have designated April 7, 2019 – April 7, 2020 as a special Jubilee Year marking the 100th Anniversary of the passing into eternal life the Venerable Mother, Sister Josaphata Hordashewska, the co-foundress of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate.

The official opening of the Jubilee Year will take place on Sunday, April 7, in Lviv.

Locally, also on Sunday, April 7, I will have the pleasure to celebrate a Moleben to Blessed Josaphata at Saint Joseph Home – Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate, Mundare, followed by the blessing of icons of Blessed Josaphata and Blessed Martyr Tarsykia.

The clergy are invited to include a prayer of thanksgiving for the life and missionary zeal of Blessed Josaphata during this weekend’s Divine Liturgies.
