10th Annual Alberta March for Life reminds Albertans about importance of human life, beginning to end
“We march,” Edmonton Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy’s Bishop David said, ‘to remind ourselves, and others, of the dignity and sanctity of life.” Most Rev. Bishop David spoke to participants at City Hall on May 11, 2017 at the 10th “Alberta March for Life: All Lives Matter, from Beginning to End” event.
“This year the march falls within the Easter Season.” This timing underscores the irony and generosity of a God who dies a miserable death to make reparation for the sins of humanity, then rises from the dead to free his people from the bonds of sin.
A prayer service commemorating the sanctity of human life was celebrated by Bishop David and clergy at St. Josaphat’s Cathedral on May 8, 2017.
