A Dedication Ceremony & Mass will take place, on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, to pay tribute to the Catholic Sisters for their pioneering contributions in education, health care and social welfare. Everyone is welcome at the celebrations, which will include the unveiling and dedication of a special tribute to the Sisters on the Legislature grounds, followed by a Mass at St. Joseph’s Basilica. Premier Stelmach, Archbishop Smith and Bishop David will participate in the special ceremony and service to recognize how Albertans have benefited from the Sisters’ care, compassion and resourcefulness for over 150 years.

Metropolitan Lawrence Huculak will join Archbishop Smith and Bishop Motiuk in the celebration of Mass at the Basilica. Please join us to pay tribute to the Catholic Sisters’, including our own Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate on this special occasion.

Parking is available at Connelly McKinley, 10011 -114 Street. Buses will be transporting 114 guests to the unveiling and mass.
